Corey Harper will be attending the Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial North American (FOSS4G) conference in St. Louis, May 14-16. Corey will be presenting, "Ever try to Geocode a Craton? Building a geological feature geocoding engine." The presentation and demo outlines a prototype built Labs entirely untilizing Open Source tools and technologies to mine data from a database of geolocated map insets from journal articles.
