Labs Mission

Labs is where innovative ideas and technologies are developed and demonstrated for next-generation services and products.

Working closely together with societies, editors, and users, we are able to secure rapid development and testing of prototypes, and bring them smoothly into production by close collaboration with our colleagues in Publishing, User-Centered Design, Publishing Technology, Product Development, and Marketing.

Our prototypes normally range from being small demos for testing the appeal of a particular idea to almost-complete full-scale versions, and are normally coupled to existing services to secure easy transition to production.
